🎓 Eligibility Criteria

🔸 Educational Qualification

  • Navik (General Duty):

    • 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from a recognized education board (COBSE).

  • Navik (Domestic Branch):

    • 10th passed from a recognized education board (COBSE).

  • Yantrik:

    • 10th passed from COBSE recognized board, and

    • Diploma (3 or 4 years) in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.

    • OR

    • 10th & 12th passed + Diploma (2 or 3 years) in the above-mentioned trades.

🔸 Age Limit (as on application closing date)

  • Minimum: 18 Years

  • Maximum: 22 Years

🔹 Date of Birth Range:

  • Navik (GD/DB): Born between 01 Aug 2004 to 01 Aug 2008

  • Yantrik: Born between 01 Mar 2004 to 01 Mar 2008

Age relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms.


💰 Pay Scale & Salary Structure

  • Navik (General Duty & Domestic Branch):

    • ₹21,700/- per month (Pay Level 3) + Dearness Allowance + Other allowances

  • Yantrik:

    • ₹29,200/- per month (Pay Level 5) + Yantrik Pay ₹6,200/- + DA + Other allowances

Salary may vary based on location and nature of duty.


⚙️ Selection Process

The selection of candidates is based on an all-India order of merit, and performance in:

  • Computer Based Online Examination (Stage I)
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Document Verification (Stage II)
  • Medical Examination (Stage III)
  • Final Document Verification and Police Verification (Stage IV)

📘 Stage I: Online Exam Pattern

  • Navik (GD):
    Sections – Maths, Physics, Basic Chemistry, English, GK, Reasoning, Current Affairs

  • Navik (DB):
    Sections – Maths, Science, English, GK, Reasoning

  • Yantrik:
    Sections – Engineering Branch-specific Questions + Basic Science, Maths, English


🏃 Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

  • 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 minutes

  • 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak)

  • 10 push-ups

Candidates must be physically and medically fit as per ICG standards.
