📄 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of work experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (RRB) is mandatory.

  • Experience from NBFCs, Cooperative Banks, Payment Banks, Small Finance Banks, or fintech companies will not be considered.

Age Limit (As on 01 July 2025):

  • Minimum Age: 21 years

  • Maximum Age: 30 years

  • Age Relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines:

    • SC/ST: 5 years

    • OBC (Non-creamy layer): 3 years

    • PwBD: 10 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC PwBD)

    • Ex-Servicemen: As per rules

CIBIL Score:

  • Minimum CIBIL Score of 680 or above is required.

📝 Selection Process

The selection will be made through a multi-stage process:

  • Online Test – Objective test to assess Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and Banking Knowledge.
  • Language Proficiency Test (LPT) – Mandatory proficiency in the local language of the state applied for.
  • Psychometric Assessment – To assess personality traits and decision-making skills.
  • Group Discussion (GD) – On current banking and financial topics.
  • Personal Interview (PI) – Final round to assess the candidate’s banking aptitude and communication skills.


💼 Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Local Bank Officer (LBO), selected candidates will:

  • Strengthen customer relationships and promote banking products.

  • Manage branch-level operations and support local financial inclusion initiatives.

  • Handle day-to-day banking transactions, lead generation, and client servicing.

  • Coordinate with various departments for seamless banking services at the local level.


🪙 Salary & Emoluments

  • Basic Pay: ₹48,480/-

  • Total Emoluments (with allowances and benefits): Up to ₹85,920/- per month (approx.)

  • Additional benefits: HRA, DA, Medical Benefits, Retirement Benefits, Performance Bonus, etc.

  • Probation Period: 12 months (1 year)
