The ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), Cuttack, a premier research institute under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, has officially released a Walk-in Interview Notification for the recruitment of Graduate Assistant (GA) and Agricultural Field Operator (AFO) positions. Interested and eligible candidates are invited to attend the walk-in interview scheduled on 19th and 20th August 2025 at the ICAR-CRRI campus in Cuttack, Odisha.
This recruitment is purely temporary and contractual in nature and will be implemented under ongoing research projects at the Institute. 🎓 Eligibility Criteria
1. Graduate Assistant (GA)

Educational Qualification:
Graduation in Agriculture or Science (preferably with Botany/Zoology/Plant Science/Chemistry). -
Experience (if any):
Experience in field work or lab-related agricultural research is desirable. -
Age Limit:
Must be between 21 to 55 years as of the date of interview. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per government norms.
2. Agricultural Field Operator (AFO)

Educational Qualification:
Minimum 10+2 pass with ITI in agriculture or relevant trade. -
Experience (if any):
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in field operations, sowing, transplanting, weeding, and harvesting. -
Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 18 to 50 years.

For Graduate Assistant (GA):

Assist scientists in data collection and tabulation.

Support in field experiments and lab testing.

Maintain project files, records, and documentation.

Coordinate with field staff and research scholars.

Prepare reports and maintain research databases.
For Agricultural Field Operator (AFO):

Perform sowing, transplanting, irrigation, and harvesting duties.
